Iron Goddess
$40.00 USD
You’re probably no legend and neither are we (as much as we’d love to be), but just like us you probably wonder if something is just riding the hype train.
Legendary tea is named after legends and rightfully so when it comes to this famous tea. Iron Goddess (鐵觀音 tieguanyin) takes its name from the Chinese Goddess of Mercy, Guanyin.
This particular Iron Goddess immediately caught our eye with its fresh, vibrant green colors but none of those details actually mean anything until the tasting. And man oh man do these leaves live up to their appearance. We can’t speak for all Iron Goddess teas, but this is not one of those riding that hype train.
See, taste, and feel for yourself. There’s noticeably less astringency compared to other teas of this type and grade.
When you’re looking for an easy and simple everyday tea, this is it. It’s a light roast oolong that was picked from relatively young trees (<10 years old) in Anxi. Plus, this Iron Goddess makes a strong case that you’re being healthy by improving metabolism and promoting weight loss.
(Obligatory note: This isn't magic here. We aren't medical professionals either. Weight loss not guaranteed. This tea just aids your effort.)
